a lovely experience
serene pond spacious bedrooms
the grounds had a serene pond.. it added tranquility to the hotel. the bedrooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with comforts.

helpful staff lovely food wooded lake missing fridge hot room card reactivation
The staff were excellent and super helpful. the food was lovely too. the location is beautiful. A wooded lake with places to sit.
the room did not have a fridge. it was very hot and there was only a fan. i needed to queue at the check-in desk for the card to be reactivated.

stocked mini-bar garden view free-standing bath
the mini-bar in my suite was fully stocked with snacks and a coffee machine. i had a lovely view over the garden and the lake from my room. the bathroom featured a free-standing bath, a nice addition for relaxation after a long day.
the shower pressure was somewhat weak.

average experience with issues
constant noise shabby room
the breakfast was alright. it had plenty of options.
check-in at the pub was loud i struggled to hear the staff member. the room felt a bit shabby. all night, a constant motor noise kept me awake with loud dripping after 6am.

missing remote stale air
The breakfast was adequate , it included pastries.
The room reeked of stale air , a scent I couldn't quite place. My "Double Room" felt more like a glorified single and the television remote was missing. The staff shrugged when I asked about it , no replacement was offered.

dangerously hot water constant noise
the staff were friendly and tried to be helpful.
The room felt quite cold despite it supposedly being summer. the hot water tap was dangerously hot. I couldn't touch the water without burning myself. also, i constantly heard every step from the room above, and it woke me up throughout the night!!!
